Reason’s why I’m saying CP:
Who cares about JDM european cars?
Automatic
only a 525i (which is the same car I have but not worth 13k). On top of that it’s the M20 engine which is inferior to the 2.5 M50 of the later 525is.
Cloth interior (I prefer this but for 13k you should have some nice leather)

Yea, crack pipe all the way. It’s in good shape, but that’s a hell of a premium for the inconvenience of not being able to see the road correctly.

Looks in very good shape.
But 13k for an automatic 525i with cloth interior? CP.
Also, what the hell, Japan Model? That doesn’t make much sense.

I just noticed it’s LHD. Weird for Japan.

The M20 525i is also a dog. The m50 is ok, you can get around pretty well but the M20 has a timing belt and it’s just a lazy engine. It’s only merit is the metal intake.

But, but, JDM YO!
Total crack pipe. The only way being from Japan would matter, is if it was some package or option we couldn't get here.

That is very weird... is that odd?

I don’t think we got cloth seats here. If we did they’re pretty rare.

Eh, even if we didn't that's not worth paying a premium for. Things like the BMW 320is sold to Italy and Portugal, the baby M3 are worth a premium, not this

You can buy a nice E39 M5 for that price and it would be a lot more fun and more than likely hold its value better.
Crack pipe, it is low miliage, which means something,, the fact it was in Japan means nothing to me.

I just realized my good friend also has a E34 from Japan. He reminded me when I told him about this car. His car was bought by a Air Force Officer while in Japan, and shipped back to the US. It also left hand drive. I bet this car has a similar history, being it is also left hand drive. His has the same tag with Japanese writing on it.
The Military ( AAFES) has a special program for Military to buy cars while they are station over seas. They often get a good discount on new cars, and the Military pays to ship them back to the US, so these cars are not that uncommon in the US.
